Many of us tend to think of grocery shopping as going down to the supermarket down the corner or the short drive down the way, yet we can also purchase groceries from hose local farmers in our own towns! Fresh and healthy has never gotten any easier, and they even have great local vendors bringing great handmade items and vintage clothing at your finger tips.

This last week i decided to take a short drive over to the SilverLake Farmers Market which sets up Tuesdays from 2pm to 7:30pm, and Saturdays 9am to 1pm. You can find many vendors come out to spend the beautiful day out on the streets talking to the local and traveling visiters that stop by for a fresh bite to eat.

There I found a vast selections of fresh fruits and vegetables, and a great deal of friendly people hanging out enjoying the California sunlight. Many soaked up the sun while sitting down to eat a sandwich or treat from the local vendors, while others conversed with  local artisans selling their handmade items!

One of them was Ty Nelson

Another person we found out there was Lucha, a vintage vendor, with a great selection of items!
